Health Benefits of Chocolate

I heard it said that there are four basic food groups: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and anything else chocolate. - author totaly biased!

For most people their weight is an issue. Actually, most of the world now has issues with their weight. Obesity levels are soaring with 58 Million Overweight; 40 Million Obese; 3 Million horribly Obese, in the U.S. anyway. It’s primarily due to an imbalance of protein, fat, and carbohydrates in our diets. Starving yourself is not the answer, and neither is going without chocolate at all the answer either, unless you just have to for medical reasons. Reach for a balanced diet and add moderation of chocolate intake to it and you should do just fine. Now, if, when I was a kid, someone told me eating chocolate was healthy thing, man, I would have cavities on every tooth by now! Good thing!
Research has shown that chocolate can actually stimulate the body. So if you ever feel down, a bite of chocolate may help purk you like a cup of coffee. Don’t over do it though and eat every chocolate cookie in the house. A candy bar or a little piece of candy is all you need to give you that extra boost. Also, if you’re on a diet, and you begin to crave junk food you are experiencing an imbalance, a lack of right things and a need for wrong things. These can hurt your diet if you allow it to take over. To prevent this from happening, treat yourself occasionally to some chocolate, dark chocolate, if you want the better. If you’ve eaten correctly all week long a little piece of chocolate will satisfy nicely without activating the cravings.
Chocolate contains antioxidants so, eaten in moderation, it can actually make you healthier. Whether a treat or taken for the pure health benefit, eating chocolate can help you feel better. As long as you keep your eating of it in control, having some could just be the icing on top of a great diet plan! Have you have given chocolates before, just never like this!

  1. Katrin Says:

What can I say - I looove chocolate! I am from Germany, and we have some really great chocolate over there.

I am also a nutritionist and have studied health and nutrition in detail. Yes, chocolate is absolutely the healthiest vegetable with the highest amount of antioxidants found in a plant. Pity is that candy companies, well, make candy out of it. They destroy up to 86% of the flavonoids, vitamins and minerals found in cocoa, and then add fats and sugar.

Guess what, though, I have found truly HEALTHY CHOCOLATE. It actually tastes better than anything I ever had, and it is SO healthy, it is astounding. As a natural inflammatory, it helps with so many ailments, we don’t have the space here to list it all. The more you eat, the healthier you get. It even helps you lose weight! I know people personally that have lost 30-50 pounds, and all they did was add this chocolate to their diet (I have lost 12 myself, have no more migraines and no more female cramps, since 13 months now).

What’s even better, now I get PAID TO EAT CHOCOLATE because instead of giving half their money to retail companies, the manufacturer thought it would be better to give it to the people that experience the health benefits and are excited to talk about it anyway.

I change lives by sharing healthy chocolate. We have a lot of missionaries in our team, because we do see this as missionary work. I have seen and heard testimonials that sound like miracles. If I as nutritionist didn’t know what chemically happens in our body, I wouldn’t believe it myself. If you also want to eat chocolate without the guilt (and artery clogging ingredients), and help others to better health - and get paid for it - please let me know how I can help you!
